  • College student need-based financial aid;

  • School breakfast and lunches for low-income children;

  • Mental health services in Montana’s public schools;

  • Early childhood and family support services;

  • Access to health care for low-income Montanans in need;

  • Renewable energy research at MSU;

  • Disability services for blind Montanans and others in need;

  • State research and development funding;

  • Adult Montanans in need of improved home and community-based health care services; and

  • Better addiction treatment and recovery programs for Montanans in need.

Representative Hinkle also voted AGAINST personal freedom and current reproductive rights of Montana woman and their doctors and other healthcare providers.

He voted FOR:

  • Making it hard to vote;

  • Expanding partisanship in composition and operation of Montana’s court systems;

  • Expanding state government reach and power grab by stripping local government of their authority to -

    • establish local safeguards to protect public health in our communities;

    • establish prevailing wage laws and regulations on local projects;

    • establish supplementary requirements for local businesses;

    • innovate to support more affordable housing;

  • Making it easier for state legislators to file lawsuits;

  • Expanding state regulation of human sexuality education in Montana’s local public schools; and

  • Imposing his religious beliefs on everyone else.
